Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Geography Teacher located in St. Albans commencing in March 2025. This full-time position is for 23 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a Geography Teacher:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality geography lessons that meet the needs of students at all levels.
Create a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically about global and local issues.
Foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts, including physical geography, human geography, and environmental sustainability.
Encourage independent thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging teaching methods.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and teaching resources.
Lead or support extracurricular activities related to geography, such as field trips or geography clubs.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to integrate geography with cross-curricular learning.
To be considered for this Geography Teacher position, you will:
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Possess strong subject knowledge in geography, with a degree in Geography or a related field.
Have experience as a Geography Teacher for secondary school students.
Be able to engage students and inspire a passion for geography.
Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
