is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and help them understand the world around them through engaging geography lessons. About the Role As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver the curriculum to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, creating interactive and informative lessons that bring geography to life. You will support students in developing critical thinking skills and a deeper appreciation for both physical and human geography. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons that cater to varying student abilities. Use creative teaching methods to engage students in topics such as climate change, global development, and physical landscapes. Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing feedback to encourage their academic growth. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in Geography or a related field. Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level (KS3 and KS4). Strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping students understand the complexities of the world. Excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student welfare.
