Smile Education are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to work at a Secondary school in Telford on a Full time basis. This is a long term role with an immediate start.
Successful applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
As well as:
Will be able to show strong teaching and learning skills
Have expert knowledge of Geography curriculum at KS3 + KS4.
Experience in teaching up to GCSE essential (teaching Geography)
Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver Geography lessons in line with the curriculum Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school. Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
