Geography Teacher Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in Willenhall to complete their staffing teams for this academic year. With that in mind, we are looking for passionate, committed and enthusiastic Geography teachers to positvely impact the lives and education of students across the area. Start Date:ASAP Closing Date: 10/10/24 Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning Establish a positive and supportive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Geography or related field Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Humanities principles Education: Degree in Geography or related field Experience: Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of Geography concepts and principles Effective classroom management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Geography specialism Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilitiess To apply for this role you must be based in the UK with proof right to work! All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
