Prospero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Salford who are seeking a full-time, temporary teacher of Geography to work in their school from after the half-term break in February and will continue until the end of the current academic year. You will be required to teach Geography to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be expected to deliver lessons that are engaging yet challenging for the pupils, mark the work, and provide regular feedback. You will also need to attend departmental meetings and be available for parents' evenings as and when they arise.
There is a large on-site car park available. There are also very good public transport links close by.

Experience, Training and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher of Geography Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum Experience teaching Geography at key stage 3 & 4 Hold a valid & recognized teaching qualification Must have taught in secondary schools either on a permanent or supply basis; the role is open to ECTs and more experienced teachers. Commitment to the role in its entirety. Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided) Up-to-date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided)
