As a Geometric Solver Development Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to developing advanced geometric algorithms and mathematical operators that form the foundation of Dassault Systèmes’ 3D modeling solutions across multiple brands. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the functionality, accuracy, and performance of our core geometric solvers, ensuring their seamless integration into applications across our platforms. Your Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Geometric Functionalities: Design, implement, and enhance geometric algorithms and mathematical operators in compliance with the team’s processes and high-quality standards. Implement and Maintain Tests: Create robust test suites to validate the functionality and performance of algorithms, ensuring long-term reliability. Support Application Teams: Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless integration of geometric functionalities into end-user products. Optimize Existing Solutions: Continuously refine and optimize existing algorithms to meet evolving technological requirements and improve computational efficiency. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall product goals and deliverables. Your Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A PhD or 2–3 years of professional experience in geometric algorithm development is a plus. Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of applied mathematics, with a focus on computational geometry. Proficiency in C++ programming and a deep understanding of software development principles. Familiarity with the development of mathematical operators and geometric solvers. Soft Skills:

Problem-solving mindset and ability to tackle complex mathematical challenges. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. What’s in it for you
