Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading, dynamic consultancy, specialising in offshore engineering, with an established international profile in large-scale submarine cable developments and operations.
Our client is looking for an inquisitive Geoscience Consultant. The successful candidate will support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects, with an emphasis on subsea survey, cable installation, planning and design, risk assessment and project management.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to work on a number of varied, cutting-edge projects for a wide range of clients.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects.
Conduct subsea surveys and cable installation.
Assist in planning and design, risk assessment and project management.
Qualifications:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical subject.
Comprehensive experience within the offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry, or experience in design and installation of subsea infrastructure.
Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and compliance requirements for offshore projects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
