Our client is looking for an inquisitive Geoscience Consultant. The successful candidate will support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects, with an emphasis on subsea survey, cable installation, planning and design, risk assessment and project management.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to work on a number of varied, cutting-edge projects for a wide range of clients.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects. Conduct subsea surveys and assist in cable installation. Participate in planning and design phases of projects. Perform risk assessments and project management tasks.
Qualifications: Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical subject. Comprehensive experience within the offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry, or experience in design and installation of subsea infrastructure. Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and compliance requirements for offshore projects. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, contractors and regulators. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage work packages or projects.
