I have been retained by a national engineering consultancy who are looking to bolster their geotechnical team due to an increased workload. They are looking for a geotechnical engineer between engineer - principal level. This engineer will hold a key position on the team and be responsible for mentoring and developing junior members of staff, developing and expanding the existing client base, and helping to manage the geotechnical workload across the South. You will need an understanding in the assessment and detailed design of: Foundation solutions (e.g., deep foundations, rafts, piled rafts, etc.). Soil-structure interaction. Deep excavations. Retaining wall design and construction. Earthworks. You will have competence in the use of the following software packages: MS Office. Slope/W or equivalents. Oasys XDisp. Plaxis 2D/3D. WallAP or equivalent. Settle 3D.
