The national ground engineering team of 20 has 12 based in Manchester, presenting the opportunity to support junior team members whilst learning from chartered engineers and team leaders. Multidisciplinary environment:

You will work closely with the Civil & Structural engineering teams on every project, picking work up in early planning stages and taking them through to construction. Development opportunity:

You will be exposed to a full range of ground conditions, undertaking all aspects of design, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with other disciplines, representing the company in design meetings, and doing some project management whilst you progress. Paying up to £42,000 per annum + car allowance, annual discretionary bonus, option to work from home up to 4 times a week, on-site Salford Quays parking, company pension matched up to 6%, life assurance, private healthcare, free professional subscription and 28 days annual leave with option to buy and carry up to 5 days! Requirements: Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (or Equivalent). Working toward chartered status through an appropriate body (ICE, GeolSoc, IMMM). Experience in a consultancy, within ground engineering. Experience in the delivery of studies, specifications, interpretive reporting, and aspects of geotechnical design.
