GEOTECHNICAL FIELD ENGINEER: Excellent opportunity at a leading, medium-sized Ground Investigation Company who are looking for a Geotechnical Field Engineer. This role is based in Newbury.
Overview
Our client is a leader in the provision of ground investigation services. Their expertise covers both geotechnical and geoenvironmental aspects, as well as laboratory services, across a wide range of sectors nationwide.
In this role, you will assist and implement the organisation of projects in the field as well as the office, providing input as directed into aspects of planning. You will be accountable for field-based logistics, including ensuring that the correct equipment is used and maintained on site, and also for ensuring that all technical and site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time and within budget.

Requirements
Relevant industry BSc – MSc Preferable
Minimum 3 years' relevant industry background
Full Driving Licence

Maintenance and Development of Management Systems and Business Development Contribute to and support management plans to enhance company performance and profitability. Support the maintenance of the quality, environmental and health and safety accreditations. Act in a professional and safe manner supporting the safeguarding of others in the workplace. Monitoring and Auditing Assist the project managers in monitoring contractual and assurance performance. Access to Information Ensure Electronic Access to all relevant projects is kept up to date. Adhere to the more detailed responsibilities such as Liaison with site and office on contractual issues; organisation and supervision of site work. Ensure update of Contract Delivery Key Performance Indicators. Behavioural Competencies Keep abreast of key economic factors, technological advances and political change that may affect the site investigation industry. Alert and engage people in the need for specific transformational changes in the way things are done. Energise, develop and enable colleagues to succeed. Drive plan delivery, holding people and self to account. Evaluate information to make sound decisions to manage risk and to drive safe, reliable and sustainable operations and protect licence to operate. Apply rigorous commercial and business thinking to decision-making in order to generate value.
