Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer

to join our busy team, which includes civil/geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists and geologists. This role is a

full-time

role (37.5 hours), working in our

Warrington

office, with travel across the UK to undertake site work.

Applications from recent graduates will also be considered. The role is suitably varied depending on base skills and involves undertaking environmental due diligence reviews, various aspects of ground engineering including preliminary risk assessments, ground investigations, geotechnical assessments, ground contamination appraisals, remedial options appraisals, remediation strategies and associated validation works. There will be ample scope for the successful candidates to learn new skills to further their career. Essential Requirements: Bachelor or Masters’ degree in a related subject (Geotechnical Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology and Environmental Science or related discipline) Excellent written and oral communication skills and reporting abilities Ability to work as part of a team Full driving licence (travel is required) Desirable Skills: Knowledge and practical experience of ground investigation and laboratory testing techniques, including logging of soil and rock core samples to relevant British Standards and Eurocodes If you want to join an innovative, fast-paced and dedicated team who are making a difference, we would love to hear from you.
