Support proactively the site team in all Engineering aspects of the construction works. Develop and provide technical solutions to construction works activities. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Responsible for cage standardisation with the approval of the PM (cost) Provide controlled pile schedules tailored to site Responsible for the production of fabrication drawings including temporary works/ lifting points in the cages Leading, checking, and approving fabrication drawings from cage suppliers Responsible for the production of the method drawings (cage installation, central bar installation, etc...) Ensuring method drawings are understood by key people onsite (work manager, PM, site Engineer, supervisor) Responsible for the production of the PTP and WTP drawings Liaise with Designers, TWC, Cages Suppliers, Plant Department, Testing Companies, Procurement for Engineering and Technical aspects Provide solutions to site teams. Involve the relevant person in order to set up the best solution and to push for the implementation Understand site, design and programme expectation Anticipate and address to site potential technical challenges Engage and receive feedback from the site team for the purpose of continuous improvement Review associated task briefings when required Review ITP and provide comments to ensure quality Review RAMS and provide comments on technical matters Physical Working Environment: Regular trip between sites, main offices and plant yard will be required to fulfil the role Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required: Previous piling site Engineer experience required AutoCAD skills desired but optional Piling Design experience desired but optional Proficiency in Excel for efficiency is essential TW management preferred but optional Ability to demonstrate technical and practical skills such as being able to read, understand and implement drawings, sketches and specifications Ability to independently recognise their knowledge and skill limitations and the limitations of those they will be working with Ability to organize and lead regular meetings with the site teams to make sure challenges are being tackled and solutions implemented are being reviewed, feedback is being provided and cascading to other/ upcoming projects Performance driven (results and behaviours) Confident manner, good presentation skills to Client, Consultant, Site teams, Supply Chain and internal departments Determination – not easily discouraged or put off Passion, enthusiasm and charisma Innovative – prepared to see beyond how it has been done before Positive outlook – always sees opportunity through any adversity Resilient – ready to bounce back from any challenges Assertive – gets things done when they need to be Dedicated and switched-on profile Developing strong relationship, bond with the site team (not only Engineers but also Supervisors)
