Whether you're a fresh graduate or have a few years' experience under your belt, this is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including mining investigations, residential developments, commercial builds, and construction validation. What's on Offer? Variety: Split your time 50/50 between office-based report writing and site investigations. Career Development: Transition into a consultative role while maintaining hands-on involvement. Competitive Salary: £24k - £32k depending on experience Exciting Projects: Work on ground-breaking initiatives with a well-established consultancy. What You'll Be Doing Undertaking site appraisals and reviewing third-party information. Preparing Desk Studies, Land Contamination Assessments, Remediation Strategies, and Validation Reports. Managing site investigations and ensuring project delivery aligns with scope, budget, and deadlines. Interpreting data and producing reports to a professional standard. Performing human health risk assessments, controlled water risk assessments; Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments. Carrying out foundation design and preferably slope stability assessments and settlement analysis. What You'll Need A degree in Geology or Engineering Geology. 0-3 years of experience in ground investigations and/or report writing. A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle. Based near Derby for easy commute to the office.
