We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work in the UK (London) covering the German and Polish markets, bringing on new clients like the large retailers of the UK but in those European countries. Your role will be to get this brand's incredible product stocked in retail stores!
We are looking for a German speaker who is happy to manage a small team in the UK, overseeing the Polish and German salespeople.
You MUST have a love for Far Eastern Flavours! This role is around 50/50 on new business to account management.
Responsibilities:
Have meetings with distributors across Germany/Poland, both on Teams and face-to-face. Be expected in the office twice a month in the City of London. Identify new business for mainstream retail chains, independent retailers, and food service clients. Maintain good relationships with external stakeholders. Plan and analyze trade promotional programs and evaluate results of the activities implemented. Regularly update pricing situations for our own and competitors' products and use this information to support business planning. Ensure sufficient inventory for distributors at all times and plan with distributors to prevent supply interruptions. Timely reporting of market situations, data analysis, sales target achievement, and project updates to management. Effectively communicate with internal and external functions to execute planned projects to drive business further. Ensure the brand is managed effectively, and the brand image and equity are not likely to be harmed.
Requirements:
German/Polish speaker. Driving license is advantageous for meetings in Germany/Poland. Willingness to come into the office twice a week (City of London). Must be a foodie and love trying new foods, as the office will be a hub for food!
