Location: London W8, Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
Salary: £40,000 per annum + £25,000 Guaranteed commission for first 12 months + Uncapped OTE
Our client
is a leading company in the aviation industry and is seeking to employ a German Speaking Account Executive for the London market.
Purpose of Position:
To be a trusted consultative partner to the business and its clients. The Account Executive will be based in London and will leverage their knowledge of the business along with a detailed understanding of their customer's needs to retain and upsell business.
Key Responsibilities:
Retain and upsell business; ensures that results are attained, if not exceeded; monitors economic trends, and customer usage to proactively offer solutions for renewal, trading, adding-on and graduating to new products; and unearths referral opportunities. Effectively manages timelines to address upcoming renewals and expirations; uses Salesforce to effectively track the progress of all opportunities, retention efforts and day to day client meetings and communications; and works with Manager on ad hoc reporting for senior management. Familiar with the client's programme (i.e. billing, international travel, booking, etc.) and seeks detailed program explanations from internal experts; proficient in the technical aspects of aircraft and aviation and keeps abreast of new product offerings and updates to internal policies. Regularly communicate with the customer via phone, e-mail, and in-person meetings to obtain feedback; uses the feedback to lead discussions with internal team members to ensure clients remain loyal to the company; stays informed of changes to client and client's industry and addresses any changes with a solution-based approach; and uses strategies introduced through internal sales training to build consensus of clients' value throughout multiple levels of Client organisations. Proactively monitors Client flight activity to minimise and resolve service disruptions, communicate and champion the clients' value through service victories and upgrades; through research, analysis, and building of relationships, obtains a detailed understanding of the Client's needs and articulates how such needs and goals are achieved by the clients' products and services; effectively communicates any changes regarding the Clients program to Owners; and communicates about all regional Client events and manages Client attendance.
Personal Specification: Minimum 3 years related account management experience in a similar private aviation or luxury field working with high net worth individuals. Previous Sales experience preferred. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite. Fluency in Business English and French or German (written and spoken). High Proficiency in MS Office. Fluent in German and English.
