The Role: You will take responsibility for a small number of high-value OEM accounts. These are in the form of blue-chip brands from engineering and industrial markets. It will be up to you to be PROACTIVE in your endeavours – profiling the accounts correctly, defining the overall decision-making unit within each account, performing accurate needs-analysis procedures and effectively increasing wallet share across each account. There is significant in-house design and engineering capacity so you will have plenty of scope to go after a wide variety of business. This is a prestigious senior role within a progressive organisation where your profile will be high and you will be given further opportunities to progress your career. You will lead a small team of sales/estimating personnel.
The Person: It’s likely that you are a strategic account manager from an engineering background with experience of developing large OEM accounts.
The Rewards: A basic salary of up to £70,000 is on offer along with a 20% bonus, company car or allowance and various other ancillary benefits.
