As a Vice President in Global Corporate Banking Public Sector Business Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future strategy of our business. As aGlobal Corporate Banking Public Sector Business Management Vice President, you will provide strategic support to the head of the GCB Public Sector Group and Infrastructure Funds coverage. You will partner with business leaders to develop strategies and support the business agenda, reporting to the head of business management for Public Sector & Infrastructure Funds. Your role will be pivotal in navigating market conditions and driving growth.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Business Heads and management teams.
  • Communicate business strategy, performance, and priorities.
  • Analyze market position and develop growth strategies for various products.
  • Collaborate globally to identify client opportunities and execute business plans.
  • Support client agenda coordination and performance metrics.
  • Track P&L, expenses, headcount, and key metrics.
  • Develop executive management reporting with Planning & Analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to control and governance policies.
  • Drive compliance structures with Legal, Compliance, and Control Management.
  • Serve as a key contact for front office and support functions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant financial services experience with financial and business management expertise.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with solution implementation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, effective under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
  • Professionalism and discretion in interacting with senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of Banking, Markets, and Asset Management products.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Interest in Political Science.
  • Experience with Corporate or Investment banking teams is a plus.
