About the role: AvePoint is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Customer Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, integrating, modelling, and analysing customer data from various sources, including CRM, marketing campaign systems, and customer success systems. Your insights will help drive strategic decision-making across marketing, sales, and customer success functions, contributing to improved customer engagement and overall business growth. Key responsibilities: Data Collection and Integration:
Gather customer data from various internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Data Modelling:
Develop and maintain data models that represent customer journeys, engagement, and interactions across the customer lifecycle. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyse customer data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decisions. Campaign Analysis:
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns, providing recommendations to optimize future strategies. Customer Segmentation:
Perform customer segmentation and cohort analysis to identify key customer groups and tailor marketing strategies accordingly. KPI Development and Tracking:
Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. Data Quality and Governance:
Ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance standards, implementing processes to clean and validate customer data. Visualization and Presentation:
Create dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment. Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and analysis. Understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success processes and how data can inform strategy. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
