Job Overview An exciting opportunity to lead the differentiation strategy and broad execution for one of Abbvie Eyecare cornerstone brands. Reporting to the International Associate Director, Retina, the incumbent will assume responsibility for driving content transformation and execution, congress experiences, and support strategic planning processes as well as cross-functional and area/affiliate activities. All aspects require teamwork as well as day-to-day autonomy. This is an essential role within the International Marketing and Commercial Operations Specialty Care Business Unit. Key Responsibilities: Own segmentation, application of hyper-segmentation tools, and message tailoring. Own the International Content Design and Development (New Content Model), translating strategy into implementation across all HCP-facing infrastructure e.g., Congresses, Digital Sales Aids, Emails, Media and other digital assets, Briefing Documents, Training guides, and implementation guides. Drive the operational aspects for the rollout of assets to affiliates, spearheading International to affiliate communications and managing country support requests. Support the annual brand planning process as part of the International brand team. Support new market launches. Expand experience by in-country visits to strengthen collaboration and to gain customer and country feedback. Lead and coordinate Compliance, Medical & Legal approval process (via Veeva Platform), with primary responsibility as owner of marketing & promotional input. Support the team in organization-led meetings and coordinate regular touchpoints for International brand council with key International, area, and affiliate stakeholders. Work closely with MCM and Analytics leads to define the right KPIs that inform strategic decisions and regularly track ACE execution vs differentiation performance. Ensure all deliverables are per AbbVie standard operating practices. Coordinate International Brand Plans
Support the development of the annual strategic brand and functional plans and own the process of development. Ensure appropriate market research is in place to ensure outcomes, timelines, and insights are timely and relevant to the international brand plan. Ensure close cross-functional alignment with key International and area stakeholders to maximize input into the brand plan. Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field is required. MBA preferable. Proven marketing management success within the pharmaceutical sector. Prior affiliate-level marketing experience is essential. Prior field-based experience as a pharmaceutical representative is useful. Excellent communication (1:1 verbal, written and presentations) and teamwork skills required to gain internal trust and support for strategic imperatives and operational programmes, and the ability to gain group consensus in a team environment that values analysis and data-based decisions. Ability to manage and drive multiple simultaneous initiatives with flexibility, impeccable attention to detail, and demonstrated ownership over an initiative’s success. Ability to work in a matrix/cross-functional environment. Very strong planning and project management skills. High competency with Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Fluent in English and ideally at least one other language. Availability for frequent travel internationally (~30%). Additional Information
