We are looking for a

Global Medical Category Manager

who is collaborative, adaptable, and strategic to join our

Procurement

Department, based in our offices in

Brussels, Belgium or Slough UK. About the role You will have responsibility for a specific spend area and develop end-to-end best sourcing strategies. You will also create and lead value creation initiatives which improve quality of service and supply. Additionally, you will develop partnerships with strategic vendors to achieve quality and innovation targets. Who you’ll work with You will partner closely with senior stakeholders from Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Real-World Evidence as well as partnering with external suppliers and vendors. What you’ll do Develop a comprehensive strategy for the Medical & Regulatory Affairs procurement activities. Lead commercial negotiations. Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally, facilitated by implementation and transition plans. Lead strategic sourcing, including tendering when required, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and requirements fully captured. Provide market dynamics, benchmarking and market intelligence to identify potential new partners. Deliver Master Services Agreements and maintain an approved list of selected preferred suppliers. Promote and contribute to strategic supplier relationship management. Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills Master’s degree or above. Ability to influence and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels. Fluent in English; French is advantageous. Relevant work experience in procurement position is preferred. Experience in Medical / Regulatory Affairs environment in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
