The head office is based in Surrey, but this person is only required in the office once per month (they can attend more if preferred!).

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Mobility Manager to oversee and enhance our client's global mobility strategy. As a key member of our HR team, you will ensure smooth international assignments and relocations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring effective support and compliance throughout the mobility process.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the global mobility strategy, policies, and procedures in alignment with business goals. Manage and support all aspects of global assignments, including relocation logistics, visa processing, and compliance with local tax laws and immigration regulations, primarily through managing external vendors who run the process. Serve as the primary point of contact for assignees and stakeholders, providing advisory support throughout the assignment lifecycle. Collaborate with HR, legal, finance, and other relevant departments to facilitate smooth mobility processes. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and effective global mobility policies and compensation packages. Review and assess assignee feedback to improve the mobility experience and implement necessary changes. Stay updated on global mobility trends, legislation changes, and best practices. Provide training and support to HR staff and business leaders on global mobility issues and policies. Analyze data and generate reports on global mobility metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized certification in global mobility is a plus. Proven experience (5+ years) in global mobility or international HR management within a large matrix business. Strong understanding of immigration laws, tax implications, and compliance related to international assignments. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in using HR information systems and mobility management tools. High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. Japanese language skills would be an advantage.
