About the role: This role reports to the Global Senior PR Manager who is based at 100 Victoria Embankment, London. You are required to be office based 2 days per week at a minimum. This will be a critical role to the successful launch of Dove’s latest global Personal Care innovations and masterbrand campaigns – further building the brands beauty and purpose credentials via the critical channel of PR/Comms and social influencers. The global Dove Others Say team is looking for a PR & Influencer Marketing expert to leverage the voice of “others” (media, influencers, communities, experts etc) to amplify product and purpose-led messages, build credibility and drive mass talkability for the brand. This is an exciting, varied manager role suited to a digital native with a history of delivering global social-first campaigns that earn attention, and meet a particular business and communication goal. You’ll think with a social-first mindset, crafting global strategies and content that inspire local marketing teams to harness the power of PR and creator marketing. Responsibilities include: Design and implement social-first PR and creator marketing strategies that push forward the marketing efforts for Dove. Partner with the global Dove masterbrand marketing teams on key campaigns - designing specific toolkits, campaign plans, PR & social assets and risk assessments that encourage brilliant local execution. Shape global brand experiences, both in real life and on social, that drive mass talkability and shareability for the brand. Craft global agile campaigns that hijack social-first and cultural trends and are brought to life in key markets. Drive global thought leadership - building out briefings, talking points and storytelling for key global Dove stakeholders. Develop strong relationships with top 10 key markets to create best-in-class Other Say execution and measure communication effectiveness. Lead global PR and influencer measurement frameworks to evaluate key campaigns and gather globally relevant insights for future campaigns. Support Senior PR Manager, where needed, on Risk and Reputation management and brand statement updates. Personal profile: An
independent “doer”
– a global PR and influencer marketing professional (6-10 years of experience either agency and/or in-house) that understands how to get things done in a global, matrixed organization. A
crafter & expert in written and visual content
that can create the most compelling stories that will land in editorial and influencer/social – both earned and paid. An understanding of beauty industry is an advantage, but not essential. A strategic thinker
that would build the thinking first with clear outline of the why before shaping the what, and then running with execution. A
collaborator/networker
who thrives on working with different disciplines to build strategies and content – from global and local marketing teams to marketing specialties (brand, R&D, insights) to agencies. A strong business mindset
focusing on what is needed to drive impact and business results. Key skills: Global strategic thinking combined with creative mind-set. Brand PR strategy, planning and measurement at a global level. Social Influence strategy, planning and measurement at a global level. Project management end to end – including budget management. Understands earned and paid, social and PR landscape. Excellent written and visual storytelling skills. Can manage global pilots including shoots, crafting influencer assets / briefs and can share results that inspire local markets. Stakeholder and relationship management both internally and externally. Team player & deliverer - and with personal accountability. Essential experience: Global PR & Influencer Marketing experience is essential . A minimum of 6 years’ experience in external communications, within a large organisation, PR & Influencer agency or media relations. Has worked
in or with
a multi-stakeholder global environment, and knows how to collaborate to get the job done internally or externally. Experience of managing global brand PR and influencer campaigns (from budgeting and planning to strategy and content development, both visual and written). Managed brand experiences, both events IRL and social-first. Extensive experience managing and motivating global agencies. Demonstrable passion for brands with purpose and a point of view; and social trends. Ideal to have: passion for and expertise in beauty industry.
