Golf Experience Manager/Server/Bartender (LC)
Five Iron Golf is the country's premier indoor golf and entertainment experience, with 26 locations nationwide and more on the way. Five Iron Golf’s core mission is to seamlessly meld golf and entertainment, and in the process make golf inclusive and accessible for all. The Golf Experience Manager is responsible for leading the Golf Experience Team in guiding our guests through their Five Iron Golf experience, ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement that focuses on all the fun the sport of golf and Five Iron have to offer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage with and through associates to deliver an exceptional guest experience by overseeing pre-visit communications, onsite interactions, and post-visit follow-ups. Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services, including lessons, leagues, memberships, as well as spirits, beer, wine, and food and beverage offerings. Use this expertise to confidently sell and cross-sell across various offerings. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and deliver service that is both friendly and professional. Build relationships within the community, foster loyalty with customers, and encourage repeat business through proactive engagement. Handle essential administrative tasks related to sales transactions and customer service inquiries. Oversee the sales, execution, and management of Five Iron Golf leagues and one-off tournaments throughout the year (Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons). Collaborate effectively with team members to align efforts and achieve business goals. Take pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf, ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement at all times. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean, guest-ready bar, simulator area, and facility. Manage and oversee simulator rental experiences, facilities maintenance, food & beverage service, and Golf Experience Associates. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions. Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and adhere to all service standards, including prompt first drinks and ongoing guest engagement. Create fresh and new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promos to enhance the fun and energetic vibe of Five Iron Golf. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness. Assist with closing duties as needed. Required Qualifications: Server, bar, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but not required. Upbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a team. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time. Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location. Meet the state minimum age to serve alcohol. Proficient verbal and oral communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
