The Goods Receiving and Distribution Officer (Supplies) role will be based at The North Middlesex University NHS Hospital Site. This role involves support in the receipt and delivery of goods throughout the hospital site, requiring lifting, carrying, bending, and interaction with staff of all levels. Main Duties of the Job

Responsible for the correct receipt of goods into the site and organizing their delivery to user departments. This service is provided to all NHS Trusts on all sites. Duties include: Undertaking goods receipting. Organizing goods for distribution by facilities management portering staff. Undertaking distribution where required. Providing support to the Ward Inventory Control service with the checking and putting away of goods at ward level. Picking internal requisitions from a bulk store, using inventory systems, and issuing stock. Each Goods Receipt & Distribution Officer will have a nominated base but may be required to work on other PPS sites, including Moorfields, Royal Free, Barnet, Chase Farm, and the Whittington Hospital, depending on the needs of the service.
