The ideal candidate will be highly organised and will have experience of preparing and supporting the running of large formal meetings. A knowledge of law and/or governance is not essential for this role but would be helpful particularly in dealing with the more technical aspects of committee business. You will have experience of taking minutes and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be able to pay attention to detail while managing competing priorities. You will have experience of working with senior stakeholders, ideally with those who, like our elected and appointed members, are managing their voluntary commitments to us alongside often busy professional lives. You will have IT literacy. We use MS Office 365 (including MS Teams for virtual meetings and collaboration). Appropriate training will be provided. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, stimulating policy environment, have prior experience of governance and believe this could be the right next role for you, please get in touch.
