Governance Solicitor Venn Group are currently partnered with a local authority in the South Yorkshire area who urgently require an interim fulltime Governance Solicitor. The key role responsibilities are: Advise on legal requirements and limitations of a committee system of governance (including area committees) Advise on legal requirements of the Council’s constitution and contribute to a review of the constitution Contribute to/advise on/review/draft policy documents and protocols connected with the operation of the constitution and the committee system Advise on the scheme of delegations within the constitution and the requirements for reports to decision-makers Advise on local government constitutional and administrative law Attend meetings as required To apply for this role, please contact Chloe Dunkley on the Manchester Public Legal Recruitment team at 0161 830 1830 or
