Managing the development of individual IAG policy positions and related influencing activity in the UK to support Group strategic priorities. Managing aspects of IAG’s international affairs activities, helping IAG’s operating companies secure market access and address doing-business issues. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop group policy positions. Produce convincing and clear written material to further IAG’s policy influencing activity, including letters to political stakeholders and consultation responses. Experience required
Outstanding standard of writing, and ability to translate complex concepts in simple terms. Public affairs influencing experience gained in-house, from agency, in Parliament or government. Detailed knowledge of UK political institutions and a thorough understanding of policy development and the legislative process. Understanding of the regulatory environment for international aviation.
