Key responsibilities: Develop a strong working relationship with our client’s named Minister and key officials within their team. Building relationships in Government Departments responsible for key agendas. Increase awareness and support amongst key MPs and peers through a systemised stakeholder, mapping, prioritisation and engagement approach. Attending conferences or travelling to constituency meetings with MPs. Undertaking ad hoc research, tasks and project work in support of the team and company strategy to help improve the voice of the company. Ensuring continuous reviews and updating of contact management systems. Key requirements: Experience in a government relations, policy or public affairs environment. Operational experience of UK political structures, processes and trends. Proven experience of engaging through the policy processes. Outstanding writing skills. Excellent time management, multi-tasker and pays attention to detail. Proven ability to engage senior and working level stakeholders.
