As an Associate Dean, you will be part of the extended Senior GP educator team and will also be expected to be part of the approval process for Trainers and Practices within the Southwest and supporting delivery of both central and local ARCP panels. You will work closely with the Head of Schools, other Associate Deans, Training Programme Directors, Patch administrators/managers, and Directors of Medical Education and the Primary Care Dean. It will involve delivery and oversight of projects and workstreams to support doctors in training and educators, including induction, one-to-one support, small group work, and being an escalation point for both educators and DiTs. Medical practitioner registered with the GMC with a current license to practice. Evidence of professional development as an educator/leader. Higher educational qualification such as a postgraduate certificate or Masters in medical education.
