Job summary Symphony Healthcare Services have an exceptional opportunity to join an innovative primary care/general practice provider at Martock and South Petherton Surgeries in Somerset. We have 8 sessions vacant and we offer excellent sessional rates of pay, plus many other employee benefits. Our integrated, multidisciplinary team includes health coaches, advanced nurse practitioners, and a medicines management team and provides a wide range of services to around 10,800 patients. We're also part of Symphony, the largest GP provider in Somerset, so benefit from the experience and learning across a network of 20 practices. Friendly practices in quintessential village locations, yet with the support of a network of practices behind you so you can concentrate on patient care. Martock is a historic village situated on the edge of the Somerset levels, within easy reach of the Blackdown Hills, the Mendips, the Quantocks, Exmoor, and the Dorset coast. Main duties of the job As a Symphony GP, you would undertake all the clinical duties associated with a GP working in primary care, without the responsibilities and risks associated with being a Partner. We can offer opportunities from salaried through to employed and consultant level GP posts, depending on your experience and the level of responsibility you take on at the practice. All GPs working for us are paid as Employees, unlike Partners, which means less risk for you and more time to focus on patient care. Through annual appraisal, we encourage career development and progression and are keen to support GPs who wish to extend their role or have specialist skills which can be utilized in primary care. About us Symphony Healthcare Services (SHS) was established in 2016 as part of the award-winning Symphony Programme Vanguard, developing new models of care. We now support 16 practices across Somerset providing care for over 100,000 patients. Providing NHS services is at the heart of what we do. Our vision is to ensure that primary care is sustainable for patients and practices in Somerset, and we aim to be a national exemplar for primary care provision. Key benefits of being a Symphony GP: Flexible roles and working options A Mentorship Scheme for newly qualified GPs who will be supported by a GP Trainer Freedom to join our new in-house locum agency,

'Symphony Flex' , with additional competitive sessional rates of pay. Symphony welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and underrepresented groups. When undertaking recruitment and selection for our services, Symphony is committed to equality of opportunity for all. Symphony offers a NHS or NEST Pension, a fantastic range of employee benefits, and salary sacrifice schemes, along with flexible working from day of employment and an agile approach to home/office-based working. We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application. Job Responsibilities:
