Please click on the link below to submit your application. Abbey Medical Group, based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is looking for a GP Partner to join their team. There is a view to join the team from July 2025; however, the start date would be negotiable for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, working with multi-disciplinary teams, and undertaking all clinical duties associated with work as a General Practitioner in line with GMC and RCGP standards. Also, supporting the team to achieve the surgery’s QOF and Enhanced Service targets. In addition to the usual duties of a GP, we offer additional services such as joint injections and coil fitting. Interests in continuity of care, medical education, and women's health would also be welcome but are not essential. The practice is seeking an individual with excellent organisational skills, communication, and team-working skills. A commitment to delivering a high-quality, welcoming service is essential. Key Responsibilities

Evidence a breadth and depth of clinical knowledge and skills, deal with people in a professional manner even under pressure, and demonstrate strong inter-personal and communication skills. Have passed the membership exam of the Royal College of General Practitioners, be accredited as a GP by the GMC, and be registered on the NHS National Performers list. Have recent experience working as a GP in the UK, either as a Partner or salaried doctor, show enthusiasm for general practice, commitment to lifelong learning, and a positive attitude to continuous quality improvement. Interests in continuity of care, medical education, joint injections, palliative care experience, and women’s health would be welcome but not essential. Experience of using SystmOne. Working as part of a PCN. Experience of working in a GP practice. Using a triage appointment system. About the Practice

We currently have a list size of approximately 12,600 patients and are based across 2 sites in Blidworth and Ravenshead. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Our practice uses SystemOne, and experience with this system would be beneficial, but training can be provided. There is an excellent management structure in place, led by the Practice Manager and the management team alongside 7 GP Partners, GP Registrars, a Lead Nurse, 2 Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, 2 HCAs, and a phlebotomist. The Abbey Medical Group is a forward-thinking practice with innovative ways of working. We are an established training practice with 4 GP trainers. The successful candidate will be required to perform supervision/debriefs, but participation in being a trainer/formally teaching will be optional. All our administration and reception needs are met by our friendly and well-organised administrative teams across both sites.
