We are a friendly and supportive well-established practice which has recently merged with Manor House Surgery in Eston. Normanby Medical Centre is located in Low Grange Health Village, Middlesbrough. The practice operates from a purpose-built premise and is a training practice for medical students from Newcastle and Sunderland. We are highly recommended as a teaching practice by Medical and Nursing students. Our patient population is 22,700, and we utilize the Systmone computer system. Our CQC rating is ‘Good’ with high QOF achievement. Our team comprises of 11 GP Partners, 7 Nurse Practitioners, 10 Practice Nurses, 4 Health Care Assistants, 3 Pharmacists, and a highly skilled and supportive administration and reception team with good staff retention. We are the lead employer for Eston PCN with a Partner as the PCN Clinical Director. Our support team includes social prescribers, pharmacists, dieticians, physiotherapists, physician associates, care coordinators for care homes and dementia patients, care coordinators for learning disabilities, mental health practitioners, podiatrists, health and well-being coaches, and pharmacy technicians. We have strong working relationships with our practice-attached community services, CCG, and local practices. We provide our own enhanced access on evenings and Saturdays within our PCN and are also part of ELM Federation. Our team holds regular clinical, practice, and partnership meetings to support clinical learning, share information, and develop services and new ways of working.
