Job Description The Client Graphics organization is seeking a validation engineer to join our FW Integration Team. This position requires experience in FW validation and triaging, as well as test infrastructure maintenance, in order to provide a high-quality, on-time component integration. You'll be immediately plugged into the team with a senior team member identified to help in your ramp, and given appropriate levels of ownership over FW feature validation and triage to match and continue to grow your skills. You will be expected to work on the tasks across all aspects of the software validation process (test planning, test execution, test triage, and reporting). You will leverage a modern development culture and processes using modern development practices. If you are looking to challenge yourself, being a team player, growing technical expertise and ownership, and understanding the details of Intel's graphics products while advancing your own skills applying modern validation techniques, this is the job for you. You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Programming (C/C++) Scripting languages (Python) Validation with embedded firmware Developing, reviewing, and implementing detailed Graphics FW test content. Test Infrastructure improvements and optimizations. Triage of test execution results to support aggressive release windows. Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in the industry of technology and/or graphics that includes: Practical knowledge of Firmware / Software debug methodologies. Demonstrated application of modern software engineering practices in product delivery situations. Understanding of modern test planning, implementation, and triage methodologies. Working Model This role is available as a fully home-based position and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business needs.
