Immingham, Lincolnshire. Job Purpose and Scope: Supporting our project, the Graduate Quantity Surveyor will support the Project & Project Quantity Surveyor in managing the commercial aspects of their role. In particular: Maximising the commercial results of the project in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets & to maximise cash. The Procurement of Sub-Contractors. Financial Control of Sub-Contractors. Preparing timely & accurate monthly financial reports to forecast net margin & activity. Essential & Desirable Criteria: A 2:1 in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management. A genuine interest in the construction industry. You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme, which is a two-year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on-the-job training. Our programme offers a balance of training and on-the-job learning to support your transition to becoming an accomplished professional. Graduates will take responsibility and accountability for their careers, while we offer guidance and support to help you reach your goals. We will support your route to chartership and give you the opportunity to develop different skill sets outside of your specialism.
