MAPP Building Consultancy Role Summary / Purpose and Scope:

We have a host of opportunities within our Building Consultancy teams for a Graduate Building Surveyor in our national MAPP offices. Your role will form part of the national Building Consultancy team, being based in a MAPP office location to suit you. The Graduate Building Surveyor will have completed an RICS Accredited BSc or MSc Degree in Building Surveying. You will have a willingness to learn and take responsibility for navigating the APC process in a diligent manner whilst assisting the Building Consultancy team. You will gain experience from a wide range of instructions suited to ensure your development to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Skills, Knowledge and Values

An understanding of the rationale behind the building surveying opportunities and showing a readiness to engage. Able to hit deadlines, targets and KPI’s on tasks/instructions. Excellent organisational skills. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels. Client facing skills. Auto CAD proficient. Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages. Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with MAPP policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework. Values & Behaviour

Level of Experience / Certifications

Completion of an RICS Accredited BSc or MSc degree in Building Surveying. GCSE Grades & subjects taken. A-Level Grades & subjects taken. Other Grades & subjects taken (if applicable). Details of any previous commercial Building Consultancy or other relevant experience. UK Driving Licence.
