FINTEC recruit is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to work for our prestigious engineering client based in Fort William. This role will concentrate on power and hydro, with further training and development to enhance technical skills and professional growth. This is a permanent role with a salary in the range of £28,000 to £35,000. You will be working within multidiscipline engineering teams for project delivery and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the environmental performance and sustainability of power and hydro systems within a heavy steelworks manufacturing facility/plant. Responsibilities: Assist in planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects relating to power and hydro infrastructure. Carry out inspections of hydro scheme structures, including dams, smelter and power station buildings, and structural steelwork. Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and construction drawings in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Skills and Experience required for the Graduate Civil Engineer role: Degree qualified in civil engineering. Able to prepare technical reports, project specifications, and construction drawings.
