Graduate

with

up to 3 years experience

in

Controls & Instruments. You must have a technical bias and be comfortable in working on your own. Capable of working in multidisciplinary environment and dealing with uncertainty. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. If you have exceptional time management, we want to hear from you ASAP. Main Purpose of Role: Undertake design and engineering work and apply practical knowledge to provide technical support. Occasional independent judgment required in the collection, assembly, and preliminary determination of engineering data. Knowledge / Experience (Skills): Understanding of C&I design for onshore and offshore pipelines, crude oil tank farms, process plants, petroleum refineries, FPSO, etc. Knowledge of the relevant National and International Standards and Codes of Practice. General computer literacy with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows, and the Internet. Ability to communicate with Senior Engineers, as required by the Business Stream. Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills. Discretion and confidentiality at all times. Flexibility to work within a team environment. Qualifications: An engineering degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Responsibilities: Technical Develop the full scope of project including FEED, detail design, procurement, installation inspection, testing, and commissioning under the guidance of Senior Engineers. Clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out. Prepare department deliverables, as directed. This will include: MTOs, reports, specifications, data sheets, calculations, drawings, and schematics to fully define the design requirements and equipment and services required in accordance with Company processes, procedures, work instructions, standards, and current legislation. Participate in site visits as required, to facilitate design work and integration of additions, to gather information and to resolve Project related problems under guidance of senior staff. Perform work in accordance with the Penspen Group ISO 9001 Accredited Quality System, including ISO 14001 Environmental Procedures and ISO 18001 Health and Safety Procedures. Generic Ensure deliverables meet project requirements and specifications. Ensure integrity, effectiveness, safety, and robustness on all stages of engineering design, consultancy, and EPC projects. Organise and prioritise discipline work tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and performance of work in accordance with corporate and project/client procedures.
