As a Graduate Design Engineer you will work on a variety of projects assisting teams in the design and development of commercial and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

Work as part of the design team under the supervision of senior members of staff. Understand multidisciplinary design challenges and participate in their solution. Understand appropriate design codes, standards and design software and use them under supervision. Become graduate member of ICE or IStructE. Acquire knowledge of the attributes of a professional engineer and record evidence of achievement. Attend sites and projects where required to carry out site inspections and surveys. Understand the commercial requirements of projects and the company as a whole. About You

BEng / MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering at 2.1 or above. Good level of computer literacy including MS Office. Training in the use of Engineering Design Software i.e AutoCAD, Revit. Motivated to progress to Incorporated or Chartered status, as appropriate, within the ICE. Good level of knowledge and understanding of technical principles underlying Civil Engineering design and practice. The Individual:

Good verbal and written English. Strong attention to detail, particularly in engineering principles. Analytical approach to problem solving. Positive, self-motivated and proactive team player. Open to working on secondment at Richter design offices throughout the UK as the need arises. Good communication skills and ability to express ideas. Well organised and hold the ability to prioritise work with an effective problem-solving outlook. Ability to work to programme deadlines. Ability to read and understand construction drawings. High level of personal and professional integrity and a strong work ethic. Receptive to constructive feedback. About Us
