Torchlight Recruitment Solutions Ltd are looking for recent Graduates who are seeking their first opportunity to join a well-established multi-disciplinary Design Consultancy providing services to the Building Services Industry during a period of expansive growth and success.
This role will involve working on a number of MOD and Defence projects and will give the candidate the opportunity for continued learning (e.g., Chartership) and a clear and structured career path with a dedicated graduate trainer.
The requirement is for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. There may also be an opportunity for a Design Engineer with an electrical bias.
We are looking for individuals who have recently graduated (University or Apprenticeship) with a degree in design engineering. Ideally, you will have had exposure to the building services industry and gained some understanding of the construction industry. Other areas of interest include architecture, listed buildings, ventilation, air conditioning, BMS Controls, HVAC, drainage, etc.
An understanding and knowledge of design packages such as Revit and AutoCAD is required for the position, along with the ability to understand and interpret construction and engineering drawings and 3D modelling.
