Graduate Design Engineer

Graduate Design Engineer focuses on develop structural and civil engineering design packages in line with client requirements and had-fab standards.

What the role involves

• Develop structural and civil engineering design packages in line with client requirements and Had-Fab standards.
• Managing your own portfolio of projects to meet programme deadlines and technical expectations.
• Assisting in the development of 3D production models and technical drawings ️.
• Collaborate closely with detailing, fabrication, and production teams to ensure designs are safe, efficient, and cost-effective ⚙️.
• Ensure all designs comply with current regulations, Eurocodes, client specifications, and CDM requirements ✅.
• Provide technical support across departments and help solve engineering challenges throughout project delivery.

Skills and requirements

• Support nationwide site visits and surveys, carrying out technical assessments where required.
• MEng Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (BEng considered).
• A willingness to work towards professional chartership (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of structural steelwork design ️.
