White Label is representing an engineering business in the Wakefield area that requires a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in electrical design engineering, working on exciting projects globally. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge solutions.

My client is offering a starting salary of £25,000 - £27,000 as well as:

Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions tailored to client needs. Conduct calculations to ensure designs meet technical and safety standards. Support the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals. Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes. Assist in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

Experience required of the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar tools.
