As part of our 2024 Early Careers cohort, we are looking to hire a Graduate Electrical Engineer to be based in our Exeter office. This is with an aim to start in September 2024.

On joining Pell Frischmann, you will become part of an expert, multidisciplinary team where you will gain training and experience in your chosen specialism. Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be engaged in projects from conception through to tender and construction. Generally, schemes will include site visits, internal and client design review meetings, contractor, and vendor liaison etc. Additionally, you will be enrolled onto our 2-year Graduate programme. This exciting programme is built around the competence requirements of professional institutions and is a great way to kick start your career. You will have the opportunity to network with other graduates across the Group and develop key skills such as project management, business, and personal effectiveness. Main duties Support implementation of projects to fully meet the client requirements, in accordance with relevant standards. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to provide engineering designs that meet the Clients' requirements. Work in preparation of designs, drawings, calculations, and schedules in own discipline. Support the preparation of scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents, and any other required deliverables. Grow an understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation, and current relevant design best practices. Develop an understanding of BIM standards such as BS1192, PAS1192, and ISO19650. Engage, where possible, in client, contractor, and third-party liaison, including the review of third-party design proposals. Develop a good understanding of our BMS (Business Management System) procedures.
