Transicon operate in a wide variety of industry sectors including food and drink, automotive, environmental and metal processing. We're looking for a graduate to develop their skills as part of our talented engineering team, undertaking a wide variety of controls engineering projects, working alongside some fantastic engineers with some of the largest businesses in the world. As a Graduate Control Systems Engineer, you'll work within our established engineering team,

responsible for specification, design, project management and on-site commissioning of a wide variety of variable speed drive, servo drive, PLC and SCADA system projects controlling a diverse range of industrial applications. Our experienced engineers are here to support you to achieve your full potential in your engineering career. The right candidate will be a passionate engineer, keen to tackle a wide variety of engineering projects for our exciting customer base. Starting rate of £23 - 26k per annum, dependent on qualifications and relevant learning experience. Monthly pay Holiday pay Pension Scheme MSc/MEng funding available for engineers wanting to further their qualifications Job Description: Working within a team responsible for: Software programming using established industrial platforms like Siemens and Rockwell PLC as well as SCADA systems HMI design and programming Commissioning of control systems Assisting the sales department with new applications Liaising with the Mechatronics department to develop control systems for our own bespoke industrial machinery. Requirements: Let us know if you can meet most of these requirements: Degree or similar qualification in an electrical or mechatronic engineering field The ability to complete work independently within allocated time scales Attention to Detail and ability to use first principles to check the quality of your work Team Work and strong communication skills Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel Further knowledge that would be useful: Experience in using software tools such as Siemens TIA, Rockwell Studio 5000, LABView Familiarity with hardware/software testing Knowledge of safety systems Knowledge of machine learning/AI in control system design
