We are seeking a graduate to work in our vibrant organization for an initial 12 month period, with potential extension, starting ASAP. What You’ll Do This hybrid role is designed for recent graduates with a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and an interest in the life sciences and data analytics. You will be given the opportunity to work closely with members of the UK & Ireland Finance team, as well as the broader UK & Ireland affiliate team and the Regional Finance team based in Switzerland. You will support the team in a variety of operational activities, including: Preparing regular financial reporting and analysis in support of the month end process Developing business partnering skills by assisting budget owners to manage their spending in line with their annual budgets. Assisting with budget/forecast submissions into Hyperion for consolidation Utilising digital tools to improve finance processes and identify efficiencies. Preparing ad hoc analysis as required by the business. Supporting work for internal/external audit requests Participate in ad hoc projects in support of business requirements, including data analysis, modelling (where possible) Proactively collaborate with other contributing departments Participate as a member of the Graduate Intern Program and on-site work / activities. Required Skills A recent graduate degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics with an interest in life sciences and data analytics Strong academic achievements and strong history of teamwork Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft suite of products, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of PowerBI is desirable but not essential Advanced analytical skills with great attention to detail Eagerness to learn and willingness to challenge status quo Innovative attitude / outside the box thinker to solve problems Ability to collaborate and work across different departments and countries Ability to communicate succinctly Ability to work independently, following instructions and guidance Extracurricular activities that demonstrate your drive and skillset Additional Information
