The Graduate Fire Engineer's Role As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will contribute to delivering tailored fire safety solutions to clients across a range of sectors. From private residential developments, including both low- and high-rise blocks of flats, to commercial properties, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and achieve the highest levels of fire safety. Your responsibilities will include: Developing Fire Strategies, reports, technical notes, sketches, and all necessary support for calculations using the latest modelling software. Reviewing building designs and design elements. Being client-facing, attending important meetings with clients, design teams, and statutory authorities. Project Management of Fire Engineering projects. Fire Strategy preparation. The Graduate Fire Engineer will have A degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A basic understanding of UK fire safety regulations (e.g., Approved Document B and BS 9999). A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and team members effectively. Familiarity with fire modelling software is desirable but not essential.
