Graduate Hydrographic Data Processor focuses on assist in maintaining quality and consistency of data processing and deliverable creation.
What the role involves
- Assist in maintaining quality and consistency of data processing and deliverable creation.
- Assisting Processing and reporting managers with reporting, charting & data management.
- Assisting with data archive and data repository management, ensuring safe storage of a large variety of data formats.
- Assisting with notifying software manufacturers of any bugs.
- Reporting preparation based on Geophysical survey data and interpretation.
Skills and requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Hydrography, Marine Geography, Marine Sciences, or a related field.
- Highly competent in the use of all Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Ability to take initiative, to problem solve and troubleshoot data where required.
- Excellent data management and coordination skills to handle large volumes of data.
