The role: AlphaSights’ Infrastructure Engineers work hard to make sure we’re performant, highly available and resilient to failures. As an infra engineer, you will be responsible for planning, building and maintaining our core AWS infrastructure and our CI/CD pipelines and toolset. We’re looking for people who are interested in designing and executing solutions to a very high standard, comfortable working across multiple technologies, and learn quickly when new ones are introduced. We care more about your engineering skill versus your deep knowledge of a particular tool, provider or technology. What you’ll do: Create solutions that

enable our engineering teams

to deploy code quickly, reliably and securely Ensure the

availability, scalability, performance

and security of our cloud infrastructure Diagnose and troubleshoot application and infrastructure related issues

quickly and effectively Provision cloud resources

based on capacity, computing and security requirements Always have

best security practices top of mind , employing zero trust and principle of least privilege across all critical systems and resources Work in tandem with development teams to manage and

execute DevOps and Infrastructure initiatives Regularly evaluate and research alternative solutions to

improve internal DevOps processes Continuously evaluate and refine the

monitoring of our critical infrastructure

and applications Who you are: You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Proven track record:

you have clear accomplishments both in and out of university, standing out from your peers. You have practical experience , applying your technical skills in a professional environment. You have excellent communication skills , collaborating closely and effectively with teammates. Highly driven and proactive:

you relentlessly and independently push through hurdles and drive towards excellent outcomes. Meticulous:

you hold high standards and have an obsessive attention to detail. (Preferred) Basic Understanding of AWS:

You have some experience with AWS services and are keen to deepen your understanding of cloud environments, embracing the opportunities for growth in this area. (Preferred) Basic Understanding of DevOps:
