This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a team of mechanical and electrical engineers on a range of building services projects, in and around Eastbourne. About the Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer role: As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the chance to work on a variety of innovative and impactful projects within the built environment. You'll be contributing to sustainable building solutions, working closely with senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, and system integration. The engineer selected will be participating in site visits to assess project progress and ensuring designs are implemented correctly. They'll be using IES-VE software for energy modelling and carrying out calculations for mechanical services. Requirements for this Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer position: A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field). Strong interest in the built environment and mechanical design. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to learn and develop within the industry. A good understanding of building services and systems is an advantage but not essential. A full right to work in the UK. Live in or near to Eastbourne.
