Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

Project/Design Engineer Based: Chester Days: Mon-Fri Hours: 8.45am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am – 4pm on Friday. This is a varied role that would include: Design calculations for manufactured products Project purchasing Preparing costings for non-standard products Preparation of technical design files Liaisons with inspection authorities Sub-contractor communications Produce detailed component and assembly drawings Write and develop engineering specifications Training and support will be given; therefore, previous work experience is not a prerequisite for this role. The qualifications and qualities we are looking for are: You will have a HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills, ability to self-manage, enthusiasm, initiative, and to be a team player with the drive to develop this role and make a real contribution.
